Clinton V. Calleja graduated Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 2005. He graduated B.A. (Legal and European Studies) in 2002 and obtained a Diploma Notary Public in 2003.
In 2006, Clinton was awarded a Masters of Law degree (Adv. LL.M.) in European Business Law by the Pallas Consortium of Universities, Amsterdam, after sitting for examinations in Contracts in Europe, International Trade and Dispute Settlement, Company Law, International / European Taxation, Competition Law, Intellectual Property, Environment protection and Business activities, Financial Markets and Banking.
He also studied law at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark as an Erasmus scholar where he enrolled in a Conflict Management and Resolution skills course based on the workshops taught at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. Clinton also holds a Certificate in Trust Law and Administration awarded by the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners.
Clinton was called to the Bar in September, 2006 and joined Guido de Marco & Associates in October of the same year. He holds the position of legal consultant to a private company that provides services for the registration of collective investment schemes in Malta.
